Senior Portrait Frequently Asked Questions

What does the session fee cover? The session fee covers the photography time, the private online gallery and the yearbook image submission to the school. For Senior Portrait Packages, digital files and ala carte options and pricing, Click here.

When will my package be delivered? Packages are delivered directly to your home within 2-3 weeks.

How long do I have to pick my yearbook pose? You have 30 days to submit your yearbook pose. Simply fill out the form at the top of your private gallery, and we'll get it delivered to the school. 

I changed my mind about my yearbook pose. What can I do? As long as the school is still accepting yearbook poses, we can make the change for you. The fee for changing your pose is $10 after your gallery goes offline. 

I requested a proof and haven't received my order? Check your email, including your spam folder. When a proof is requested, we typically send it by email within 2-3 days of placing your order. If you do not respond within 3 email attempts, we send a final email letting you know your order is on hold until we receive proof approval. If you wish to approve your proof Contact Us. Be sure to include your student's name and school. We are available by phone 10:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday at 301-654-3185 to assist you.

Do you have retouching options not listed? Yes. Please Contact us to discuss additional retouching options.

What's the difference between a small and large digital file? A small digital file can be printed up to size 5x7 and looks great on social media/phones/email. A large digital file can be printed at any size. Contact us if you have questions.

My senior would like to retake their picture. Is that possible? Yes. Please call 301-654-3185 to schedule an appointment at our Bethesda studio. The retake fee is $30. When your gallery goes online, all images from the original and retake session will be online and available for viewing/purchasing. 

I only ordered a digital file, how long will it take for that to be delivered? Digital files are delivered within 2 weeks unless proof approval is required. Digital files are delivered via the address provided in the order. Please note: Digital files sales are final and are not eligible for a refund or exchange.

How do I access my student's portrait online? Your senior and the parent provided email will receive an email with a link to your private gallery and password for viewing.

My senior's gallery went offline. I didn't have a chance to order, what can I do? Contact Us. We can put your gallery back online for free for 2 days, or $10 for 2 weeks. You can also give us a call at 301-654-3185 if you need assistance.

My package got bent/destroyed. What do I do now? Please take a photo of your damaged package and email it, along with the name on the order to info@stonephotography.com

I am missing items from my order. What do I do? Please Contact us so we can assist you.
